What is the cost of the sessions?

Please contact us for information about fees. The fees are less than those recommended by the Australian Psychological Society.

We are unable to offer bulk-billing but do offer a reduced fee to a limited number of clients.

Who is eligible for a Medicare rebate?

People with a GP Mental Health Treatment Plan and a valid referral are eligible for a Medicare rebate of up to 10 sessions per calendar year. The Medicare rebate for clinical psychology sessions of at least 50 minutes is $141.85 (From 1 July, 2024).

Electronic Medicare claiming is available to eligible clients.

For further information about rebates for clinical psychology services and the Medicare Safety Net please call Medicare on 13 20 11.

Will my private health fund provide me with a rebate?

Many private health fund extras policies provide a rebate for psychological services (usually up to an annual limit). These rebates are usually significantly lower than the Medicare rebate. If you have extras cover please check your possible entitlements with your insurer. Please note that it is not possible to claim a Medicare rebate and a private health insurance rebate for the same session.
